This platform provides a series of Global Evoked Naming Tasks, available for free to any center performing awake cognitive mapping. It serves as a database and platform for constructing new tasks ad infinitum using these elements as building blocks.

Most teams agree that classical Picture Naming tasks, whether Object Naming or Action Naming, are insufficient to avoid false negative results. The tasks proposed for subcortical mapping must be highly sensitive because, unlike cortical mapping, there is only one chance at each location to evaluate function. Each error can potentially cause irreversible neurological damage.
